Soccer On - Season and Game Statistics Journal App Reviews

I would have never figured myself for being into soccer. But that all changed when my daughter joined a team this past year and really got into it. She cant wait for next season to start. So I have started developing an interest in documenting her stats and her development with the game. I cant think of a better way to do that than with this app. Just spending a few minutes with it lets you know that there is a very comprehensive depth of information you can catalogue within it. I have been having fun gathering as much info from this past season to get it organized in the app, and then beginning to set up some of the groundwork data for the upcoming season. What I havent figured out yet is how to catalogue my photos. I collected a lot of photos of my daughter and her team last season, and I wanted to put the into this app. I am also going to want to the same with the upcoming season - including snapping shots right within the app itself. But this functionality seems to be missing, at least on my phone. The app informs me that I dont have any photos loaded into it, but doesnt provide any methodology to change that. I reviewed the app screen shots online as well as the developer feature video, and the photo menu section presented there doesnt quite resemble the one on my phone, so for now, that part is somewhat of a dud on my phone, hopefully to be fixed in the next update. Until then, I continue to be amazed at the depth of this app.

I really like all of the features youve included in this app. Compared to someof the others out there you have all of the perks in one place. I do however find the app difficult to navigate and the set up is very tedious. My daughter plays club soccer year round and although we have different seasons all the players and coaches remain mostly unchanged and it is very tedious to have to re-enter EVERYTHING to start a new season. It would be great if you could add to a season or other feature some piece of data (EG, player info) already in the app. Additionally, I love the built in map and points of interest feature but I cant get it to work in a way that is useful to me. EG, we have an upcoming soccer tournament in another city, I cant get the field and hotel info in the system because when I type in the address it still finds my current location drops a pin and resets all the info I just typed in to my current location - it would be great if I could put the info in and use it as a reference to get around once I arrive at an unfamiliar location. Also, sometimes the app wont allow me to schedule games during the week - odd but I cant get it to work. I love the app but there is definitely room for further development in terms of ease of navigation and info input. Keep up the good work and hopefully youll have some awesome updates coming up soon!

Love the ability to track player, coach and referee information within the app. All of the needed stats, etc are easy to keep track of.

So simple to use. Really logical info fields and progressions. Refs and locations as well as scoring. This is a great app for soccer players and parents.

Excellent interface but not as useful as it could be if you could email the stats. Once this is implemented it gets 5 stars, hopefully we will get this before spring season ends

really useful app with a lot of extra bells and whistles. helps keep all the season info together in one place. maps, stats, phone numbers, etc. really nice.

My family is so happy we have this app. With two girls playing in different leagues multiple times a week, this has saved us so many headaches. Keeping rosters, schedules and stats in one place is perfect for us!

This app has everything you need to keep track of a season of soccer. Really easy to understand and intuitive to use. Good graphics as well.

I love Soccer! And I play in my High School! This is the app for anyone who really likes Soccer or to watch it. I love this app!

This is mostly if you are a coach or play on a soccer team. It seems to do things quite well and allows you to document every aspect of the season. If I was on a soccer team I would probably use this app.

Being year round travel team parents (2 sons, 1 daughter) we greatly appreciate this app, but a few suggestions for an enhanced version, even if it cost: 1. A master players list so you dont have to keep adding them every season, same for coaches, locations, etc. 2. The ability to email stats, as well as maybe "bump" with another iPhone or iTouch to share information 3. A desktop app that syncs and is easy to share with other parents (see EVERNOTE) 4. A method to sync parents from the contacts app to Soccer On as it relates to each player instead of having to reenter said information Thanks

Need to be able to track and email individual stats. Keeps track of stats well but no way to look at overall stats at the end of the season. Whats the use if you cant do that????

Not a good app if you want to keep track of shots on goal, goals, saves and assist. Also it would be nice if it had a game clock.

For the things it does , this app is fine. But it could do more, like have a game clock, cumulative season stats, the ability to access players from previous seasons, rather than have to re-enter them, the ability to edit opponents names after initial entry. I do enjoy the scoring features that are here and details about players, but I have run into these other issues that have been frustrating.

This was an amazing app!!!! I love it. Its probably my favorite sports tracking app. Although it is an awesome app, it could use some additions. 1- it should let you add videos to the pictures part of the games 2- this isnt really an addition but you need to make a basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, and lacrosse edition of this. Its a great app! Strongly recommend for soccer fans/players/coaches

The app locks up and unable to use most times.

Loaded this app and all of our team info, now it wont open. Have rebooted the phone and still no luck. Website for developer doesnt work either. Waste of $$.
