Soccer On - Season and Game Statistics Journal App Reviews

I wish I had this application when I was coaching my son and daughter. Now I am just a parent that likes to keep track of statistics. This application is easy to follow and allows you to keep score of games without jumping through any hoops. Most of the other applications seem to be just score cards, but this application is much more (e.g allowing you to take pictures, create a journal about the game, and keep track of up coming games). My nieces indoor season just started and I cant wait to show my brother.

I have 2 (soon to be 3) kids in soccer. This app is a great way to keep track of all of their games, stats, etc. as well as tie pictures of them to the specific game. The map feature is great as we never seem to play at the same field twice. The app is extremely well written, very intuitive and flows perfectly. This was very well thought out. If you have kids in soccer this app is a must have!

I just used my app for the first time today, after my game, and I just had to take a minute to complement Paul Wood Software on a great product. This app has to be one of the cleanest and easiest to use apps I have on my phone. I’m looking forward to keeping a journal of this season’s games and having qualitative information to track my teams progress over the season. Thanks again for creating such a great product.

This is great for coaching and using it as player. I an able to organize many sessions on one ap. It is useful for coaching when trying to prepare for a team. I love this!!!

This app does EVERYTHING! My favorite feature is the ability to take and keep organized the pics from each game as my iPhone doubles as my digital camera. The GPS tagging of locations is useful as well. I dont think I would ever take the time to input a opponents teams stats as well, but its great for my kids!

Great app. Does what you want a soccer organizer to do. Tons of fields for info on players coaches even refs. Clean interface and easy to input and reference. Would be great for other team sports too.

I had this years ago to have all the stats and info from when the kids started playing. Being able to look back and customize fields is really cool. The app is really well set up.

Im not a soccer player or a fan. This app is definately not for me. However, if you are a soccer player I highly recomend this to you. The menu takes a bit of getting used to but after you get to know it, youll be impressed. Get this app if you like to play or watch soccer and you like to track it somewhere. The price is a little high though.

Great app for Soccer parents! Ive started keeping track of the games and scores - now everyone comes to me for the info! Plus I really like organizing the photos. Highly recommend this app if youre a player or a parent of a player.

I dont play soccer, but I have family members who do. This is a great app for keeping track of their stats and games. Ill be recommending this app to people I know who would love it!!

You should be able to generate your coaches, players, and referees profiles by copying them from your iPhone contacts. You should also be able to email and call them from the app too. You should also be able to mark a custom location for a field, etc. via an address or pin marker instead of latitude/longitude coordinates, for us iPod touch users. I know you can enter an address on the app, but I need to look up the address right on the map inside the app, not by exiting the app and then going to Maps and then looking the address up, copying the address from Maps and the going back to Soccer On to paste the address. The address should be automatically entered once I look it up ON THE MAP INSIDE THE APP. Id also suggest changing the icon something much simpler, like a logo-esque soccer ball instead of a ball on top of a table (or whatever it is). Also change the blue-sky-behind-a-ball-on-the-grass background. It just needs to be a simpler, less cornier, less cheesier background. But other than that, the UI is good. Has some bugs that need to be removed ASAP because the app crashes sometimes. Also, you should include other stats such as yellow and red cards, as well as running a clock for a game so that when I would record a goal or some other kind of play, that play would automatically be timestamped with the time from the game clock. (e.g.: [Goal] Terry 26)

Crashes every time I click current season

Starts out as a great app. Halfway into adding schedule I was unable to click on current season. Program then crashes.

This is such a handy little app! It makes managing game schedules so easy and accessible at all times. I also like the added bonus of being able to store photos and video.

This is a handy app for soccer families. Cool graphics and just about everything one would need for keeping up with games, scores etc.

Whoa. This is extremely user-friendly and helps soccer parents and/or players keep track of every imaginable soccer season detail. There is even a team and coach phonebook that lets you put in specific details about individuals. This is a really well-thought application.

This app does have alot of features right but is hard to navigate and hard. I spend over 5 minutes trying to find where to add a game. Pictures should also be sizable ad scalable and the information should be email-able to family.

I recently purchased Soccer On and really like it. I run multiple soccer leagues and was wondering if you could make your app for league organizers too, rather than just individual coaches. Maybe it would be $1 extra for the league version or something. Here are a few suggestions/ new features that would be cool for your next update: 1) Inputting in all that player data is tough on the iphone. Maybe you could include a feature to input people from my iphone contacts or somehow sync like Bento for iphone. 2) I also have an app called "Soccermate" and it would be cool if you could integrate their functionality in your app. 3) Tracking yellow/red cards is good. 4) When I push the email or phone, it should email or call that person. 5) Some how make a playoff bracket from the teams in the league that could be emailed 6) Points of interest- not needed. 7) League standings by division- automatically calculated after scores are entered in would be so cool!!! (Example: Kids under 10, Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, Mens over 30, Co-ed Adult, Mens over 18, etc) 8) Rename App- Soccer Team Manager and Soccer League Manager 9) Make this revised App for Basketball too please.
